Production

Projects · scope · post-production
What kind of projects does Monster Studios produce?

Commercials, brand films, music videos, fashion films, corporate content, photography, and feature-length productions. In nineteen years we've delivered 250+ films across telecom, finance, FMCG, automotive, government, and NGO sectors.

We work end-to-end (concept → shoot → post) or as a service provider on specific stages of a project — production only, equipment only, studio only. Whatever fits the brief.

Do you shoot outside Côte d'Ivoire?

Yes. We've shot in 10 countries across West and Sub-Saharan Africa. The Abidjan studios are our base, but the team and gear travel — equipment is insured for transport, crew has the experience, and we work with trusted local fixers wherever the project goes.

For shoots outside Côte d'Ivoire, send us the brief with location and dates and we structure the logistics in the proposal.

Do you handle post-production?

Yes — edit, color grade, sound mix, and finishing. We can deliver the full chain in-house, or work with the post house of your choice if you have a partner you prefer.

For projects with specific delivery formats (broadcast, theatrical, online), we discuss the workflow during the proposal phase to make sure the chain is locked from day one.

Equipment rental

Cameras · lenses · lights · machinery
Can I rent equipment without booking the studio?

Absolutely. The rental park operates independently — you can book equipment for an off-site shoot, a location production, or a project at another studio. The full inventory is on the Rental page: ARRI Alexa bodies, Ultra Primes, Cooke S4i Mini, anamorphics, full HMI & LED lighting, Panther dollies, and the ARRI Silent generator.

Equipment leaves with insurance, transport, and a check-out / check-in protocol.

Do you provide a technician with the gear?

Yes. Camera assistants, DITs, gaffers, electricians, dolly grips, and crane operators are available — trained on our gear, accustomed to working with international DOPs and directors. You can book equipment with crew, with operator only, or dry-hire (equipment alone, your crew operates).

For technical gear like the ARRI 12K HMI, the Panther crane, or the Silent generator, we recommend booking with our operators — both for the result and for the equipment.

How are day rates and multi-day discounts structured?

Quotes are tailored to project scope — duration, gear list, crew requirements, location, and insurance needs. Multi-day shoots benefit from progressive discounts, weekly and monthly rates are available for long-form productions.

Send us the equipment list and dates via the contact page and we come back with a structured proposal within 24 hours.

Studios

Booking · access · facilities
How do I book one of the three studios?

Three steps. Send us the brief (project, dates, which studio, basic requirements). We respond within 24 hours with availability and a structured proposal. If we agree, we sign and lock the dates.

The three studios are detailed on the Our Studios page — Monster (400 m² flagship stage), The Loft (convertible 1st floor apartment set), The 120 (2nd floor flex space for casting, photo, and set construction).

What's included in a studio booking?

The space itself with electrical power, climate control, blackout, security on premises, vehicle access (for Monster Stage), greenroom and talent area, and Wi-Fi. Equipment, crew, catering, and consumables are quoted separately — that way you only pay for what you actually need.

Some long-form productions book the studio + full equipment + crew as a package. We also do studio-only for clients who bring their own.

Can I visit the studios before I book?

Yes — and we recommend it. The best way to understand if a studio fits your project is to walk through it. Recces are free and take about 30 minutes. Book a tour via the contact page, or call directly.

For productions coming from outside Abidjan, we can also send a video walkthrough and floor plans on request.

Getting started

Quotes · response times · payments
How do I get a quote?

Send us a brief. The more precise it is, the faster and more accurate our proposal. The minimum we need: project type, shoot dates (or window), location, deliverables, and rough scope. If you have a script, treatment, mood board, or reference, send those too.

Quotes are tailored to project scope — we don't publish standard rates because every production has its own variables. The team responds within 24 hours with a structured proposal.

What's your response time?

24 hours, business days. For urgent shoots that need an answer in hours rather than a day, call directly — phone, WhatsApp, or email with "URGENT" in the subject. The team works in Abidjan time (GMT+0).

What payment terms do you offer?

Standard terms for the West African market: a deposit on signature secures the dates and equipment, with the balance due according to a schedule agreed during proposal. We invoice in FCFA, EUR, or USD depending on the client.

For institutional clients with formal procurement processes (ministries, multilateral organizations, NGOs), we adapt to your standard payment terms.
